After an exciting Aaron's 499 at the huge 2.66 mile Talladega Superspeedway the Nascar Sprint series moves to the short ¾ mile track at Richmond for the Dan Lowry 400. Jimmy Johnson is the favorite at 9/2 under the lights this week as he took both races in 2007 at Richmond International Raceway. It's also the site of Dale Earnhardt Jr's last victory over the Cup series in May of 2006. Jr. is in the midst of a 71 race winless streak on the circuit. Kyle Busch has enjoyed success at Richmond with 5 top 5 finishes in 6 lifetime starts over the tracks. When I have my driver head to head matchup selections posted on Saturday morning on my blog I will be looking to play on Kyle Busch. Kyle took the checkers last week at Talladega. Chevy's have dominated the short tracks taking 10 of the last 13 races and the last 4 winners at Richmond all drove Chevrolet. Kevin Harvick won at Richmond in September of 2006 and has 6 Top 10 finishes in his last 8 races over the track. We will play on two Chevy drivers this week at Richmond.
