As we tape game 2 between the Spurs and Lakers are just hours away with LA leading 1-0 in the series. The series moves to San Antonio for games 3 and 4. The Lakers dropped games 3 and 4 in the Utah series so even if the Spurs are down 0-2 heading back they aren’t completely out of this series. The positive the Spurs can take out of game 1 was the fact they held the Lakers to their lowest point total in the playoffs as well as their lowest shooting percentage. If they can continue this trend and keep the Lakers in the 80s on their home court you have to like their chances. They should get the benefit of more physical play on their home court as well. Bruce Bowen may be able to get away with a little more at home on Kobe Bryant.
